Vilnius independent moving images festival “Next Festival” was established in 2004 to promote young and developing Baltic film scene. It works together with partners from Latvia and Estonia to present world outlook of future artists from this region. NEXT FESTIVAL is a runaway and highly needed opportunity for young and unspoilt Baltic filmmakers and video artists to show their works and improve in skills.

To present new forms and styles of visual art within filmmakers and artists from all around the world. Movewithmovie researches in film and video art fields shows that the mixture of different film cultures leads into a different visual experiences and helps to reveal what’s so special about local (Baltic) film scene. Additional objective is to present important today’s and tomorrow’s visual art movements from other countries.
